Climate Emergency Action Committee 2024/2025

The DCFA Climate Emergency Action Committee (CEAC) recognizes the urgency of the climate crisis, as outlined by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which states we must drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 to keep the Earth within 1.5 ÂșC of warming. We advocate for a comprehensive climate action and sustainability policy at Douglas that embraces the UN Sustainable Development Goals and for the creation of courses, certificates, and degrees that address ecological concerns.
